The Devil Made Me Do It!

Good Morning Joes and Janes;

How many times have you heard someone say, “the Devil made me do it”?  Sometimes it is in jest, but often we use it as an excuse like we have no control over what we do.  If we didn’t have the Devil, Satan and his fallen angels to influence us then we would not sin.

Another week begins and this morning we are going to jump into a time machine with Sherman and Peabody.  You won’t remember them unless you are over 50 or follow old 60’s cartoons.  They always went back in time to some historical event but I have modified the Wayback Machine to take us forward in time to the last 1000 years of the present Earths existence.

It’s kind of like driving down a road covered in thick smoke from a forest fire. Occasionally the smoke thins and you get glimpses of the road as it curves ahead.  But mostly there is lots and lots of smoke.  You get a feeling of foreboding … you see more and more glimpses of the road and then… you come upon a wreck.  As we get ever closer things will become clearer and fall into place.  Read the rest of this entry
